Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD) Courses 2012

ITOCA launched the CEPD course series on November 23, 2010 for the benefit of professionals who are in need of further skills development in ICT, ICM and related courses. The courses are aimed at enhancing skills for practising professionals through hands-on and practical skills building classes. Participants are able to learn new skills in small well coordinated groups where they can interact and benefit through peer-assist and team building activities as they build their careers.

Programme Objective:

ITOCA’s Continuing Education & Professional Development programme (CEPD) aims to expand delivery of information, communication and technology skills (ICT) to information professionals such as librarians, information specialists, scientists, researchers and students in Africa, especially in Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi,  Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Senegal, Swaziland, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia.  Instruction is delivered through a completely online format, offline (DVDs/email) and as workshops in South Africa. All courses can be conducted on site at client location.
